Penthouse on Passeig de Gràcia

Acquired in 2019 from the descendants of its original commissioner, the residence underwent a two-year restoration led by Estudi Plantada in concert with the Generalitat's heritage office. Hydraulic floors were lifted, catalogued, and re-laid; the original carpentry was stripped of nine layers of paint and oiled by hand.

The plan retains the enfilade of public rooms along the boulevard façade, with three principal bedrooms and a study to the rear. A new kitchen, in pale travertine and brushed bronze, opens to the larger of the two terraces and the green of the inner courtyard.

Parking for two vehicles is included in the building's basement, an unusual provision for the Eixample. The community is small, owner-occupied, and famously discreet.
